About

From Denver, Colorado, I grew up dancing tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and musical theatre. I competed at dance competitions, danced in recitals, and performed in school talent shows. Somewhere along the way I decided that I wanted to continue dancing after high school. I graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance Management and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. Since graduation I have continued to train and have worked in multiple facets of the performing arts industry.

My passion for choreography grew from my love of dance and visual art. Growing up dancing led to teaching and performing in musical theatre productions. Once I was given the chance to be on the creative side of a production, I couldn’t stay away. I find joy in seeing my vision come to life, performers stepping into their characters, and the entire production coming together. My choreography style can vary depending on the production. I often give a framework of movement and allow room for individual performers to make it their own, so that it naturally fits within their body and character choices. I am open to collaboration and ideas from others in order to mold something good into something great. I enjoy choreographing musical theatre and dance for all ages and levels.

I regular teach, substitute, and choreograph for dance studios as well. I especially enjoy working with dancers to improve their performance and acting skills through their dancing.
